BIOPRODUCTION OF ENZYMES KIT (4 WORK STATIONS)

AIM

To analyse the capacity of certain microorganisms to produce enzymes that are invaluable in a variety of biotechnological areas such as biodetergent production, food production, health or environmental science.

To do a qualitative analysis of the following enzymes: amylases, proteases, celluloses and beta-galactosidase.

LEVEL

Can be adapted to O-level, A/AS-level, Science colleges and Universities.

TECHNIQUES

Microbial culture process and qualitative detection of the enzymes resulting from the processes.

DURATION

Two 50 minute practice sessions.

CONTENT

Each kit contains four work stations with all the necessary material and components to perform the experiments: racks, material for microbial inoculation, culture media, reagents to detect enzymes production and other general content to perform the practice session successfully.
